We're located in Seattle, WA USA. Timezone is Pacific Standard Time.
I'd like an LBS mobile application developed for iPhone that has the following features:
1) Query the device for its identity (e.g., phone number, IMEI or other uniquely identifying characteristic)
2) Query the device for its latitude and longitude
3) The application has an embedded web component that is a browser, serving the main content for the user experience. This usrl is called with the mobile id and lat/long information. It also needs to support cookies so we can do seamless signon. (e.g.,
m.mysite.com?phone=4255822478&lat=xxx&long=yyy).
4) The session should be attained through the browser, and is used to provide incremental location updates while the application remains open on a configurable time interval. This works similar to the request above, and might look like m.mysite.com/gpsPing?phone=4255822478&lat=xxx&long=yyy
5) The application will need to support a panel for starting, stopping the gps pings and providing status like GPS position unavailable, server unavailable, and similar splash screens.
6) The backend and web services will be developed in-house.
