Objective:
The objective of this project is to build A simple, native application for Android as well as iPhone. The app will provide Android and iPhone users with convenient access to a web-app especially built for mobile devices.

Therefore, native apps for Android as well as iPhone have to be developed which display the web-app in an embedded browser. No interaction between the native apps and the web-application is required at this point in time.

As part of this project, the supplier has to manage the approval and release process to the "Android Market" and the "iPhone App Store". Therefore the supplier has to make sure the apps will meet all terms and regulations of the "Android Market" and the "iPhone App Store". For example: It is said that Apple does not approve apps for the "iPhone App Store" that do nothing more than showing a webpage in an embedded browser. If the same is true for the "Android Market", the supplier must provide and implement an alternative approach to this application (e.g. moving parts of the web-based application into the native app).

Scope:
- Implement and test the native apps for Android and iPhone
- Provide the apps to the client for user acceptance testing before release
- Manage the approval and release process to the "Android Market" and "iPhone App Store"
- Provide and implement alternative approaches if required

Results / Deliverables:
- Native apps approved, released and available on the "Android Market" and "iPhone App Store"
- Native apps source code (commented and documented)
- Any assets used/build in the apps (images, texts)

Client responsibilities:
We will provide the supplier with all information required to develop the native apps (access to web-app, icons, descriptions, developer accounts to release, translation of the german user interface into english to ease development)

Confidentiality Agreement:
The supplier agrees to enter a confidentiality agreement with the client. As part of this agreement, the supplier will not disclose any information regarding the contractual relationship, the application as well as any information provided during as well as after the relationship. Additionally the supplier agrees not to enter into direct competition with the client e.g. by developing and marketing similar applications.

We are looking for a trusted, long-term relationship with a supplier who is capable and willing to support us with ongoing development and releases of the applications on multiple platforms including Android, iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Mobile. Therefore we ask potential suppliers to provide references of applications developed for these platforms.
