I am looking for someone to help me create a football match centre. The functionality should be similar to the one found here: http://livescore.scoreradar.com/?id=29 (please note that it should not look like a copy, but the functionality should be similar). It shoule be created using either Adobe Flex Builder 3 or Adobe Flash CS3 or CS4 (preferable Flex).

General information
===================

The data feed required for the match centre is delivered through XML files. The exact definition of the file(s) will be created by discussion with the assigned developer.

It should be possible to skin the match centre without the need of re-programming (i.e. the images and other resources should be downloaded from the website where the application lives, and not compiled into the actual flash file.

The application should read certain settings from a xml file in the same directory as the application, such as the URL's for the data files (so that the same application can be used for different football leagues).


Required Functionality
======================

There should be two main part of the application. One is the "ticker" window, and the other the "match" window. The match window shows one match selected by the user, out of a list of all matches in the active round. The ticker window shows important actions from EITHER the selected match, OR from all matches in the selected round (this selection should be easy to make for the user).

The first thing the user must be able to do is to select the round he wants to look at. From the XML feed the application will get the currently active round, and the first and last available round (the round is identified with a nr from 1 to N), and the application should always start up with this round selected and with the option to navigate between rounds.

From within the round, the user should be able to select one out of several matches to get into the "match" window. At all times all matches in the selected round should be visible with the team names, logos and current status/score (status is either a date/time, first half, half time or full time).

The ticker window should show a list of certain actions from either the selected game or all games in the round depending on the user selection. Each action contains a text line, a time and an icon.

The match window should show details from the selected match, in different tabs. In principle the same tabs as in the example: A formation tab, a lineup tab, a stats tab, a group table tab, a top list tab where it should be possible to select different top lists.

Clicking on a player (in any tab) should bring up the player stats page, with details of the selected player.

In the bottom of the match window there should be a timeline of events (0 to 90 minutes), similar to the example.


Project requirement
===================

The bid should specify what software that will be used. The delivery should include all source code, all images and other files required to modify and/or recreate the application. The code should be well organized and commented so that it is easy to continue working on it.

The exact information provided on each view in the application should be agreed on, the example above give a good indication of the equirements but should not be seen as an exact specification. We will use the project as a template, and add additional information so the code should be made so that it is easy to add text and data.

The bid should include a basic design including event icons and templates for team logos and player shirts (we will provide examples of team logos if required).

The bid should include a description of the development process, and time estimates of each step.

If possible the bid should contain references to similar work you have done.

The bid should include a detailed description of the application the way you imagine you will make it. This is to make sure you have understood the requirements, and also for me to compare bids.

Bids will be evaluated both on cost and on content. Most important for me is to get a very good base application that I easily can continue to work on. I am an very experienced programmer, but with no experience with Flex/Flash, and value the possibility for me to continue on the project higher than getting a fully ready-to-launch appliction.

Time is also an factor that is important.
