Looking for someone who has done augmented reality models than can work on webcams and mobile phones, when you view the 3d bar code image on the device. It will then show you the the 3d rendered model.
You must have doen this before, no teams please as you always get it wrong.
Looking for one developer, professional. Examples a must.
LetÂs say 8-10 models (for now)
2. I donÂt think thereÂs a standard software to read it, although from what IÂve seen these Âmarker reader apps (donÂt really know what to call them) are embedded on the web. Below is a pretty good example.
3. Phones weÂre interested in applying to are iPhone and Android.
Some very rough ideas for our Walking With Dinosaurs campaign:
Press ad  ÂTake a photo with a mini-dinosaur (made-up name)
Objective  Each new WWD press ad comes with a new dinosaur marker. Show off photos of you and your dinosaur with your friends or share your photos on our WWD Facebook page (possibly as a photo competition).
Implementation  Cut out the marker from the Press AD and visit www.thaiwwd.com/ar (made-up url) and follow the instructions (from the Clash of the Titans example below). The software should be able to capture image using the webcam as well.
The idea is to have readers want to collect these markers and the dinosaurs which makes them eager for the next newspaper ad, rather than just some generic announcement of the show coming to Bangkok.
Dinosaur Hunt  ÂDinosaurs have escaped into Bangkok, can you find them all? (againÂ
another made-up name)
Objective  To virally spread the image of dinosaurs being located in various areas using augmented reality technology
Implementation  With a partnering department store (maybe Siam Paragon?), markers will be placed in various spots and people will have to use their phones to capture the dinosaurs from the markers. As a game, people can then try to locate as many dinosaurs as possible and share them on the WWD Facebook page and whoever finds the most will win a very special prize.
This might seem a little bit out there since youÂd have to develop an app for the phone which would be able to read images for all the markers placed and would need quite a lot of 3d models for this to work well. But then againÂ
just an idea to consider.
A marketing campaign for ÂClash of the TitansÂ
Step 1 Â Go to the website http://clash-of-the-titans.warnerbros.com/release-the-kraken/
Step 2 Â Print out the marker
Step 3 Â Launch the web application (which will turn on your webcam)
Step 4 Â Hold up the printed marker and enjoy the view (FYI, the ocean and the creature is animated in 3d)
