The project calls for the creation of a Photoshop plug-in capable of working on both Mac and PCs and on Photoshop versions CS and forward. The plug-in will automate the adjustment of image colors using Photoshop's curves tool. Each image to be adjusted through use of the plug-in will require the depiction of a color standard in the image.  The color standard (of which there are many on the market see GreyTag Macbeth’s Colorchecker) will contain a number of color patches.  Each color patch will represent known RGB values.  The plug-in will compare the existing RGB values in an unadjusted image and correct the color balance using known, stored, RGB values.  The plug-in will allow the user to create a “library” of various color standards for saving RGB values and reapplying adjustments.  A more detailed schematic of the provisional workflow is available.
