We have an online system that keeps track of legal notices we receive and serve on behalf of attorneys. The system was written in PHP using MySql, but was never fully tested and rolled out. The system has a client-facing side, as well as an inward-facing side.
This job entails going through it and fixing loose bugs, and ensuring it works according to our, and our clients' needs. This is mostly a PHP job, with SQL or HTML knowledge needs being a distant 2nd and 3rd.
If you are interested in this job, and to get an idea of the level of programming knowledge required, please send us an email with your resume and answers to these questions:
1) Why is it a bad idea for a database to store clean-text passwords?
2) How would you redirect a user to the homepage using PHP?
3) Write a function to parse a string input of a date into $year, $month, and $day
