Anchor – Shipping & Logistics ERP Application

Anchor is a web-based shipping and logistics management solution which facilitates the automation of all export and import functions of small to medium logistics company. The application has features to give quotation based on predefined costs, handling charges, freight rates, customs related documentation automation, financial management and billing.

The product will generate Shipment, Invoice, Shipping Bill, Airway Bill, House Bill, Bill of lading and Bill of Entry. Every shipment has nomination facility as well as shipment tracking. The product is suitable for multiple branches with single database. Above Anchor has a comprehensive user / security management modules based on roles and responsibilities to suit any

All customers will be allowed to register and login through Secured Socket Layer (SSL) to know the status of their shipments, invoice/payment details and any specific information that is particular to them in their personalized control panel. The application has the facility that will allow management team to customize own reports on top of the standard reports that are already part of the product.

Technology Platform: ASP .Net with C#, MS SQLServer 2000, T-Chart control.
Key Features

Cost/Quote: This module helps users to maintain the various cost components like Handling Charges, Freight Charges and Destination Charges etc. This also facilitates users to prepare quotations, track the status of the quotations etc. All available quotations can be searched and analyzed and based on validity can be reused. A cost / quotation can be derived from another cost / quotation.

EXIM: This module facilitates all the operational activities of a logistics company both in Air and Sea like Handling Bookings, Shipment Creation, Execution of Statutory Documents and On-line Filing with Customs.

Finance: All the operational and administrative transactions are handled. Operational transactions are handled based on the domain requirement and administrative transactions are handled more generically. Features like payments, receipts, invoices and statutory accounts are available with user level privileges.

Customer Support: Customers are provided the facility of viewing their quotations, shipments progress, cargo status, invoices, payables etc from website.
